Stewardship and giving are not just means for the church to raise money. A committment to financial stewardship and giving is a way of life that recognizes that everything we have is God's, and we are merely managers of our resources while here on earth. When we return a portion of our financial blessings to God through our tithes and offerings, we invest in God's plans for our lives and create an opportunity for God to work through us and through our church.

Ways to Give
You can give to the church in a variety of ways:

Cash and Checks
Gifts of cash or checks are the most common form of giving to the church. Checks can be made payable to First United Methodist Church of Lawrenceville. If you have a specific envelope number, you can indicate that number of your check. If you would like an envelope number, you can contact the church financial office.

Cash or checks can be dropped in the offering plate on Sunday mornings or brought to the church offices during normal business hours, Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. You can also mail your gift to:

You can utilize your bank's online bill payment service to set up direct deposits for giving.

Gifts can also be donated to the church through:

• Stocks, bonds and mutual funds
• Estate planning gifts through wills, trusts or other legal documents
• Remainder gifts made from life insurance, retirement plans or other contracts
