Support Groups
The support groups at FUMC of Lawrenceville are an extension of our Congregational Care Ministry. They provide opportunities for individuals to find comfort, compassion and support for people dealing with a wide range of life situations including addictions, illnesses, employment transitions, grief and loss.
All of our support groups are open to the community. You're welcome to attend! Explore the list below to see all that we offer.

A support group for anyone with cancer and their caregivers, from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.

DivorceCare
A program for those who are dealing with the pain of separation and/or divorce. DivorceCare is non-denominational and is led by people who understand what you are going through.

Grief Share
A support group for people grieving the loss of someone close. This is a non-denominational group and features biblical teaching on grief and recovery topics.
Meeting time: Wednesday nights, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m., Room 301
Rainbows & Prism
Peer support groups for children, kindergarten through 8th grade, that are designed to help them as they deal with changes in family life including death, divorce or step-family challenges.
Meeting time: Wednesday nights, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. (Rainbows & Prism will resume in the fall)
Road to Recovery
A support group that ministers to individuals struggling with addiction, family members who are trying to learn to cope with their loved one's disease, and individuals who are recovering from addiction.
Meeting time: Wednesday nights, 6:30 - 8 p.m. in the Parlor (Room 318)
