Women's Retreat

Are you in need of a day at the beach? A day to slow down, wiggle your toes in the sand, and just bask in the warmth of the sun? Join us, September 7-9 as we head for the beach...in the mountains! We will meet in Dahlonega at the Forrest Hills Mountain Resort for SeaSide Escape - a retreat where women slow down and enjoy time with other women and with God. It's an in-depth Bible study, an unforgettable worship experience, and an open invitation for women to draw closer together, to be still in God's presence, and to sun themselves in his love.
During your break time, take advantage of the pool, hot tubs, horseback riding, volleyball, walking trails, Amicalola Falls and shopping in Downtown Dahlonega or at the Dawsonville Premiere Outlets!
Registration for the retreat is open NOW! You can register on Sundays in the Family Center or by clicking this link to print off a registration form to mail to the church. Scholarship information can be found by clicking here. The cost for the retreat is as follows:
If paid by:

After July 31: $165

UMW
The organized unit of United Methodist Women (UMW) is a community of women whose purpose is to...
- know God,
- experience freedom as a whole person through Jesus Christ,
- develop a creative, supportive fellowship, and
- expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Any woman may join who expresses the desire and is willing to commit herself to the purpose of the United Methodist Women.
This is an opportunity for women to gather in small groups, making it easier to expand aquaintances and develop relationships while in service for Christ.
Our small groups are called Circles. The Circles are made up of varied age groups and meet as different times during the month.
