Older Adults

Our purpose in the Older Adult Ministry is to minister to adults, in their 50's and up, in the areas of advocacy, coordination of resources, program sponsorship, personal care and relationships, spiritual nurture, growth and fellowship.

We plan and provide numerous programs and activities for older adults who desire to have fellowship, fun and engage in various activities in connection with the church.

VSP

VSP, or "Very Special People," is a group of senior adults who get together for entertainment, food and fellowship each month, as well as for periodic day trips. VSP is open to both church members and members of the community, and it's a great way to get to know other seniors.

This group typically meets on the fourth Friday of each month (third Friday in November and December) for a program, lunch and fellowship. Lunches take place in the Family Center.  The next meeting will be on May 25 - the menu will be Chicken Pot Pie, Broccoli, Biscuits, Congealed Salad, and Cobbler.  Entertainment will be provided by guitarist Greg Shivers.  To make a reservation, please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. Lunch Bunch

The Lunch Bunch, similar to VSP, is a group of senior adults who meets at area restaurants on the first Friday of each month. Everyone is invited to join the fun.
