Bible Studies
Here at FUMC of Lawrenceville, we encourage everyone, when possible, to participate in one of our multiple Bible study classes. We offer several Disciple classes, which begin in August and meet weekly through May, along with classes specifically for women and specifically for men. Frequent short term studies are offered periodically through the year.
Below is a list of several Bible studies that we offer and a little information on each. For more help on finding the right Bible study for you, contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. , 770-963-0386, ext. 116.
Alpha

Disciple
Disciple is an exciting and dynamic approach to adult Bible study created by the United Methodist Church. Classes meet one day a week for 2 hours during 32 to 34 consecutive weeks (typically fall through spring). There is daily reading of assigned scripture and study of the class workbook in preparation for each weekly class session.
Registration occurs each year around June & July, with classes available during the week or on Sundays. Registration fees cover the entire year.
Disciple is an opportunity to practice intense discipline of daily study and weekly attendance, and to participate with a covenant group. This study is for any adult who seeks to be empowered for ministry and leadership in the church, and who desires to expand opportunities for fellowship and spiritual growth.
