Created in 1832, the Lawrenceville Campground is a place of great history, Christian spiritual renewal and community outreach. The Arbor stands as a focal point, with its sawdust floor and hand-hewn timber beams. Since 1833, the Arbor has been the central location for the annual Campmeeting services and delicious covered dish dinners that precede each service.

Located at 700 Braselton Highway, the Campground is not only the home of the annual church Campmeeting, but also other church and community activities including spiritual retreats, scouting functions, family gatherings, adult, youth and children's activities and much more.

About Campmeeting

Campmeeting is a tradition that began in Lawrenceville in 1832, when the Methodist campground was founded. Each year during the third week of July, Campmeeting is a week-long celebration outdoors in the open-air arbor. The week's activities include singing, Bible study, covered dish suppers, and camping. All who wish to share God's love in Christian fellowship are welcome. Please join us and let our tradition become your tradition.
